Charleston Photography: Smiling Faces, Beautiful Places
I'm a bit behind. It's true. Life has been happening and hence, the blog has suffered. But in the midst of life happening, my camera has seen lots of action!! So hopefully In the next several days over several blog posts I'll be able to catch you all up to speed. So where to start? With a little road trip to SOUTH CAROLINA! I'm always looking for excuses to get out of Florida, go on an adventure and have lots of fun! Lucky for me, I have lots of great friends in my life who are usually up for adventures. My friend Gretchen (yep, that's her in the post below) had asked me a while back if I'd be interested in running a 10k race in Charleston. I like to run. I like to race. I like road trips. I like time with friends. I like adventures. And I'd been wanting to go to Charleston for a while (I'd heard it was really pretty). So I was easily sold. We talked our friend Carly into going as well and after hunting down a great deal on a hotel (thanks Dad for the help!!) we had made our plans.
than the portrait side, but I love them! So I hope you all enjoy as well. I hope to go back to Charleston soon...lots of exploring left to do! And if you haven't been to Charleston...GO! And be sure to go to Hominy Grill and check out the Shrimp and Grits. YUM!

Orlando Photography - Lights at Night
I spent a recent Saturday evening in Downtown Orlando with some friends. And because I love photography and I love capturing the world on my camera, I brought my camera with me. After enjoying amazing Florida weather with dinner outside on a patio, we all went for a walk. I love walks. I love them during the day when you can soak in the sunshine. But I also love them at night. It's so cool to see how a city looks at night and how things change of the disguise of darkness. So here are a few pictures from our nighttime stroll. I did discover, though, that I need to invest in
a tripod. I had to make several make-shift tripods in order to get some decent shots. So I'll be adding tripod to my list of photography related items I'd like to purchase in the near future.
